Orphne is a Water Nymph {a Naiad} who dwells in the Underworld. The Underworld is known to have several great rivers flowing around it. The second to last river before Hades dwelling is the famed river Styx. A Dark river where you cannot see without the aid of the light of the Lampads- Naiads who bear torches of maddening fire.

Whilst Hecate commands these Naiads there is one who goes her own way. She is Orphne. She can handle many things here for she is also known as Gogyra- which means in Greek- dark drain. She has a another name- the Nymph of the Night. She carries out her lords will whatever that may be but in the end- he can be a merciful Dark Lord compared with others.

Orphne has her standards of Darkness after all. This one saw many tweaks to her painting here and there… for a full year after she was finished. Some kind of record I dare say. I was happy to oblige. What Orphne wants. Orphne gets. I mean look at her. Does she not cast an arresting spell?

She is defiant, daring, and irresistible!
