All the favorite things of Autumn. This was skeytched out after a hike which saw many a twisted Oak tree. I originally was just looking to sketch a tree as I was feeling unusually tapped for ideas. Several hours later of rendering this Oak with meticulous inking- I added paint for the sunset sky and it reminded me of pumpkins. Next thing I knew there was a Pumpkin Patch growing beneath the dark Oak and poof! There was a little Black Cat peering our from behind these sweet Gourds. I can’t help but smile when I see this beguiling piece on the wall…
