As the Day turns to Night, the fireflies dance about the receding twilight in the forest. A wild Fox Cub fades into slumber after a day more exciting than one so little can stay awake for. The Mother Fox makes the silent purr to this cub, feeling a relaxed moment as she looks upon her dear offspring. They share a telepathic moment between cup and mother because they are Foxes. And Foxes are Magicians.

This is “Fox Lullaby”. A piece with broad appeal to this mystical mammal and with an unmistakable connection for family which we can all relate to. ABOUT THE PROJECT “Fox Lullaby” was created as a page for the upcoming picture book, “Now The Time” and made with a mix of pencils and digital art tools. The book is a lullaby written by Matthew Temple who among many things is an experienced a capella singer. Matthew has three kids and though they are all grown up now {if any of us actually do grow up} this lullaby, “Now The Time” is the piece he used to sing to them. Indeed he sent me the lyrics and I saw a bequiling world living in that song
